My Story

Graphic Designer
As a child, Kierra saw design all around her. From her mother sewing daily to her father creating pieces for their family daycare, Kierra was naturally drawn to design. In the 3rd grade, Kierra got her first laptop computer, a Compaq LTE, and fell in love. She started by making designs on Microsoft Paint, and eight computers later, she had gained experience with Adobe and had a true passion for graphic design.

The true definition of passion, Kierra started her career in the sciences. Throughout her course of study, she always kept art close by, taking as many elective courses as possible with her major. With a degree in Chemistry and working towards the world of pharmaceuticals, Kierra was faced with a life-changing decision after her schooling took her by surprise when things didn't go as planned. Turning a negative into a positive, Kierra decided to go after her lifelong dream of design and enrolled at Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) in her hometown of Atlanta, GA. SCAD was like no other college experience she had seen, often feeling like "a museum." Being around other creatives gave her a true drive to challenge herself and work hard for what she wanted to be as a designer.

Today, Kierra, officially a designer, is excited to see what her future awaits in her world of design.
