Color is not a crime
(2020)

Created in 2020, the year of the unknown, massive protest were seen throughout the world in defense of the Black Lives Matter Movement after the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and many more innocent Black individuals. This piece is called ' Color Is Not A Crime'  explaining that being from the African American/Black race should not cause one to be deemed a criminal. So many innocent lives have continued to be taken and this piece represents the action of defense. In the photograph the individuals are seen raising their fist, a global symbol of fighting oppression. A t-shirt design was also created to be worn throughout ones daily life and even at protest.
